Last night I participated in this virtual concert event benefitting JDC's humanitarian aid to Jews remaining in Ukraine and the thousands of refugees who have fled to neighboring countries.

“Tsuzamen” — “together” in Yiddish — captures the heart of this event, which raised up voices from Ukraine and across the former Soviet Union, as well as American Jewish singer-songwriters. Through the universal language of music that spans locations and genres, this unifying experience centered on a powerful message delivered in one voice: Ukraine’s Jews are not alone.
